After <예술인을 위한 리서치 세미나: 인간과 인공지능의 관계: 캐서린 헤일스의 Technosymbiosis> <Reserach Seminar for Artists: Relationships between Human and Artificial Intelligence: N. Katherine Hayles’ Technosymbiosis> hosted by Inyeong Yeo, 5 people gathered to make zines individually, and to exchange the zines at the end.

A Better Version of Myself started by Haryn’s reflection on Technosymbiosis after the seminar. How the cognitions and physical bodies get entangled by the result of the constant usage of AI. The entaglement of human, AI (computational media), and non human living organisms can happen voluntarily, but also in inbalanced, exploitative way. Haryn believes that this massive body of accumulated interactions can become the dept of itself and can lead into self destruction.

Being inspired by Mol’s <I Eat an Apple. On Theorizing Subjectivities (2008)>, Haryn doubts where the subjectivity lies in the relationship of symbiosis, arguing with misconceptions and overconfidence powered by techno-optimism.
