South Korea is one of the most technologically advanced countries, yet the rise of old traditional culture reveals what lies beneath the surface of modern life. Korean shamanism is commonly practiced as a therapeutic experience: shamans provide definite answers about a person's future by shaking metal bells to connect with beings from another dimension. In unstable modern society, this old technology takes on a playful yet powerful role. This animated image reflects the ongoing contradiction between modern society and traditional culture.
